Senior product data analyst, hired in 17 days.
Time to hire17 days
Context
A travel-tech company at a scaling stage was generating data faster than it could use it. Product data analysis had been handled by the CTO personally — fine at seed stage, a bottleneck once volumes grew. The company needed to stand up its own data analysis practice, with the right person, tooling, and working patterns in place.
The problem
- 01A 50/50 blend of data engineering and product data analysis skills — most candidates lean heavily to one side.
- 02Strong dynamic-pricing experience, a genuinely rare specialism.
- 03Full-time, on-site, in a smaller Western European city — which thinned the local pool to almost nothing and made relocation part of the brief.
What we did
- 01Sourced and assessed 20+ candidates with the right skill mix who were willing to relocate.
- 02Gave the client full write-ups on each candidate and ran the technical interviews end to end.
- 03Worked alongside the client's HR to shape an offer inside the target range and to keep the chosen candidate engaged through to signature.
Results
- 01Best-fit candidate hired in 17 days.
- 02Offer landed within the target salary range.
- 03The CTO was freed from day-to-day analysis to focus on scaling the platform, and product work was no longer blocked on a single person.
